The Honduras Baptist Dental Mission, with partners Pine Belt Pacers, will open the First Annual "Hustle for Honduras" 5K run/walk on November 6, 2010. Race coordinators Stan and Brittney Pickering established this race to raise funds for, and awareness of, the Honduras Baptist Dental Mission.

Acording to race organizer Stan Pickering, the race will wind through historic downtown Laurel, Mississippi: "The race will start and finish in the parking lot of [First Baptist Church] of Laurel...The route will wind through the downtown and historic district of Laurel. It will include the brick streets in the old downtown as well as many beautiful homes (some of which are on the National Historic Registry) and one of the original city parks that was designed by the city’s original architect."

Race organizers are believing that God will provide for the Mission through this first annual event. All funds raised after expenses will go to the Mission and to the furthering of the Gospel in Honduras.
